    Kelley Gregoriew (Coach G)
    Head Varsity Coach

Coach G is entering her 24th year of coaching at Allen High School, and she currently teaches Algebra at the High School. Under her direction, Allen Volleyball has made 20 playoff appearances with 8 Regional and 2 State showings. Coach G is originally from Arvada Colorado where she played volleyball, basketball, and soccer for her school team. She went on to play volleyball for Texas Tech University where she was named to the Academic All-American team for two years. After graduating with a B.S. in Education Minor in Mathematics and Communications, she moved back to Colorado to teach, coach and run a Dairy Queen. Missing the warmer weather, Coach G moved back to Texas in 1990 and has been here ever since. The voice of Allen, JP Gregoriew, has been married to Coach G for 20 years, and they have an amazing daughter Kylie. Coach G enjoys spending time with Kylie and encouraging her to follow her dreams, watching movies, working out, and hanging with the family Chihuahuas.

Coaching Philosophy

To provide student athletes with the opportunity to be successful. To teach them how to be productive as team members and learn how to be competitive. As a coaching staff our goal is to do what is best for kids. We believe that all athletes improve their athletic skills as well as their life skills. We have high expectations and set high standards for the volleyball program at Allen High School. The love for the sport and the dedication displayed by the coaches and athletes contributes to the success the Allen Eagle Volleyball Program has established.

Coach Shannon
    Shawn Shannon
    Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Shannon is starting his 2nd year of coaching volleyball and teaching health in Allen. It is his first year at Allen High School. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in Health in 2013. In addition to coaching middle school and club volleyball, he competes in USAV indoor and beach tournaments. His knowledge and passion for the game expands every time he steps on the court. Coach Shannon also likes spending time with his family at his lake house and deer lease. He looks forward to building a relationship and sharing the sport he loves with the athletes and students at Allen High School.

Coach Hill
    Jennifer Hill
    JV & Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Hill is on her 4th year of coaching for the Allen Eagles and currently teaches PAP/IB English II at AHS. Coach Hill is originally from San Angelo, TX where she played volleyball, softball, basketball, and track for her high school team. After high school, she went on to college to play volleyball where she was named to Conference, Regional, and All-American teams. Coach Hill is a graduate of Texas A&M - Commerce with her Bachelor of Science in Education in 2007, and she furthered her education and completed her Masterís in Education Administration in 2014. Coach Hill has been teaching and coaching for ten years and has four years of head coaching experience. She has also coached softball, powerlifting, track and basketball at her previous schools. In her free time, Coach Hill is a wellness coach, likes to hang out with family and friends, workout, attend sporting events, cook, and travel.

Coach Bersosa
    Renna Bersosa
    Freshman A Team
Coach Bersosa is beginning her 4th year as an Allen Eagle! She currently teaches advanced quantitative reasoning and math models. Coach Bersosa was born and raised in west Texas and graduated from Abilene Cooper High School, where she played volleyball, basketball and softball. She went on to graduate from McMurry University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Math in 2009. Coach Bersosa also received her Master's in Education Administration from Texas A&M - Commerce in 2014. She began her teaching career in Abilene ISD, where she taught math and coached freshman volleyball and varsity softball as an assistant for four years. Coach Bersosa is the Freshman A Team Volleyball Coach and Varsity Softball Assistant Coach at Allen. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, spoiling her nephew, playing and watching sports, outdoors, and traveling. She lives her life by the quote from Confucius, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life!"

Coach Fernandes
    Manuel Fernandes
    Freshman B Team
Coach Fernandes is in his second year of coaching volleyball/soccer for the Allen Eagles and currently teaches English II at AHS. Coach Fernandes is originally from Flushing, NY, where he played football in high school and competed on the track team in the field events for Hunter College in New York, NY. After graduating with a Bachelorís Degree in English and Film Studies in 2006, he worked in the business world, holding many positions. After settling in Allen in 2011, he wanted to follow his dream of sharing the joy of literature with students and pursued becoming a teacher. Last year was his first year teaching and coaching at Allen, after teaching and coaching in Dallas. He hopes to continue build on his success from last year and uses every day as an opportunity to learn and get better. In his spare time, Coach Fernandes enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with his wife, who is also a teacher, and their 3 kids.
